Weave Robotics has begun taking pre-orders for Isaac 1, a home robot built to handle laundry and daily tidying tasks through its own companion app.

The San Francisco-based company designed Isaac 1 with a full-stack approach, developing its own actuators, remote actuation system and safety systems rather than adapting existing robotics hardware.

That in-house engineering carries through to the robot’s physical design, with a solid inner structure providing form and swappable soft fabric shells offering passive safety and a look suited to different homes.

Isaac 1’s collapsible torso extends to human height during tasks and collapses out of sight when idle, while physical cues built into its design make clear whether the robot is currently active or switched off.

The robot’s wheeled base keeps it passively stable while it completes tasks, and its two arms, each with six degrees of freedom, alongside a two-axis neck and torso, allow it to reach up to 80 inches vertically and 38 inches horizontally.

Capabilities and everyday use

Isaac 1 handles two core feature areas, with Laundry Flow covering the finding, collection and folding of dirty clothes and the handling of loaded hampers, while Daily Reset covers bed-making and returning toys, shoes and clutter to their place.

Weave Robotics runs Isaac 1 autonomously by default, though the robot can fall back on teleoperation assistance to guarantee tasks are completed when needed.

Owners control Isaac 1 through a smartphone companion app, requesting tasks on demand or at scheduled times regardless of whether they are at home or away.

Weave Robotics has priced Isaac 1 at $449 a month on a subscription plan or $7,999 up-front, with pre-orders open now for a fully refundable $250 deposit.

Weave Robotics will begin deliveries to California customers in autumn 2026, with broader availability across the United States expected to follow in 2027.
