Narwal’s new robot vacuum could change how you clean your home

Narwal has introduced two new robot vacuums and a stick vacuum, saving its hot-water self-cleaning mop for the $1,099.99 flagship Freo 20, while the $300-cheaper Edge model matches it on suction.

Narwal showed the lineup at IFA 2026 in Berlin, where it expanded its robot vacuum range with a lower-cost sibling model and a lightweight stick vacuum aimed at quicker clean-ups between full mopping sessions.

That broader push into faster clean-ups reflects how far robot vacuums have matured since the first Roomba arrived roughly 25 years ago, with brands such as Narwal pushing the category toward stronger suction, hands-off mopping and smarter obstacle avoidance in recent years.

The Freo 20 flagship mopping robot

At the top of the range, the Freo 20 centres on Narwal’s FlowWash Mopping System, a roller mop that uses EdgeReach technology to reach into corners and edges that standard pad-style mops typically miss.

The roller self-cleans with 60°C hot water and applies consistent pressure throughout a clean, while 31,000 Pa of suction power and a NarMind Pro Autonomous System with dual RGB cameras handle navigation and obstacle detection.

A DualFlow Tangle-Free System keeps the brush clear of hair and debris during longer cleaning runs, and Narwal has priced the Freo 20 at $1,099.99 in the US, with UK pricing not yet confirmed.

Freo 20 Edge and the V50 Cube stick vacuum

The Freo 20 Edge offers a more affordable route into that same platform, and it keeps the FlowWash Mopping System, 31,000 Pa suction, EdgeReach and the DualFlow Tangle-Free System while dropping the hot-water self-cleaning function to reach $799.99.

That tiered approach mirrors a wider trend among robot vacuum makers, who increasingly split flagship mopping and navigation features across multiple price points rather than reserving them for a single top-tier model.

Narwal also introduced the V50 Cube, a lightweight stick vacuum with an auto-empty dock that simplifies clean-up and delivers 210AW of suction power aimed at homes of nearly any size.

Pricing tells a mixed story across the range, with the company confirming US costs for the Freo 20 and Freo 20 Edge, while the V50 Cube and its separate Wet and Dry Vacuum series still lack a US release date or price, and UK availability and pricing for the entire lineup remain unconfirmed.
