How did we get our start?

Lead designer and teacher Derek Wulff developed home school Steam kits in response to parents’ requests for fun curriculum-based, learning opportunities.

What problem are we solving?

Our company fuels kids’ curiosity with educational STEAM toys and interactive STEM projects, making learning exciting and inspiring a genuine passion for discovery and exploration.

WHAT IS IT? A kids engineering kit designed for scientific testing of various airplane designs. It allows for the consistent and repeatable launching of planes, making it ideal for educational settings. The kit includes materials and instructions to design, build, and test a wide variety of planes. The adjustable thruster can launch planes up to 50 feet or more, providing a platform for exploring the impact of different variables on flight.
HOW LONG ? Our stem projects for kids & adults usually take around 45 to 60 minutes depending on the builders model kit making experience. Once assembled, the kit can be used to launch and test planes immediately. The process of designing and building planes can vary, but the kit provides a comprehensive 20-page booklet with ideas and instructions to guide users through a wide range of designs.
WHO IS IT IDEAL FOR? The science kit is designed for ages 14 and up, but we believe younger enthusiasts (aged 9+) with adequate skills can also enjoy it under parental supervision. Perfect for individual use, homeschool stem kits, group projects, educators, and anyone interested in aerodynamics. It’s especially suited for classroom settings, where students can design and test their own planes in a scientifically rigorous manner. The kit encourages creativity and experimentation, making it a great tool for both formal education and at-home learning.
