I have an Instant Pot that I adore. My mother had only a crock pot, and I sang the praises of the Instant Pot so much that she decided she would like to try one. I got this for her and she tells me she loves it and uses it all the time.
These are quite large, and they take up some real estate in your kitchen, but they are worth the weight and space when you can make delicious meals of epic proportions, in record time, that last for days…or for large dinners with multiple people.
The only comment, and it's just a comment, is the plastic ring takes on the smells of meals past and it never goes away. But there are replacements available so no need to despair.
An Instant Pot takes the place of a crock pot and pressure cooker as a double duty appliance, so it can replace two large appliances, so there's that. After two years I finally donated my old-school pressure cooker and freed up room in my pots and pan cabinet. I wanted to be sure I was not going to use it. After the ease of the Instant Pot, I knew I'd never go back.
