Apple unveiled the all-new MacBook Neo on Wednesday, and one configuration has already sold out for day one deliveries.
MacBook Neo, Apple’s first laptop that runs on a chip originally designed for iPhone, comes in four colors and two storage configurations.
Apple offers silver, blush, citrus, and indigo color options. Storage options include 256GB and 512GB. The higher storage model also includes Touch ID. Each model has 8GB RAM.
As of Thursday afternoon, seven of the eight configurations are still available for pre-order with delivery promised on Wednesday, March 11, which is the official release date.
The first configuration to slip past the day one release is the “blush” color of the base model.
Customers can still pre-order the higher-capacity MacBook Neo with the pink aluminum finish and receive it on launch day, but Apple is only promising delivery between March 13 and March 20 for the base model in blush. Inventory for Apple retail stores remains in stock.
Walmart shows March 11 delivery dates for citrus and indigo base model configurations, while ship dates are further out for the other color and storage combinations.
The base model blush version going first may signal that blush is an especially popular color choice for MacBook Neo, or Apple may have more inventory of other colors.
