Everything new in iOS 26 beta 3

iOS 26 beta 3 is out now for iPhones on the developer beta. Below we’re collecting all of the iOS 26 beta 3 changes compared to the previous version.

First up, the iOS 26 stock wallpaper now comes in more color choices. Four styles include Shadow, Sky (previous default), Halo, and Dusk.

That left align app icon behavior on the iPhone dock is also fixed. Centered when using fewer than four icons is the restored behavior.

Now for a Liquid Glass comparison between beta 2 and beta 3 in the Music app:

The darker version is the latest design. However, Liquid Glass in other apps like Photos isn’t so different:

Meanwhile, in Apple Podcasts:

On the iPad, you can now find your cursor by shaking it to make it giant for a moment (like on the Mac). iPadOS 26 also adds support for swiping between full screen apps and windowed apps. Back on the Mac, there’s a new Lake Tahoe-inspired wallpaper.

Apple has also increased the saturation just a tad on the Photos app icon, reducing the blurry look it had at small sizes.

Files icon now has a dash more of purple in the gradient.

watchOS 26 beta 3 brings the Liquid Glass button treatment to the passcode entry screen:

The Sleep app icon has also received a color change:
