Apple is expanding its growing lineup of original podcasts with Unicorn Girl, a new nine-part investigative series debuting this month. Here are the details.
Unicorn Girl debuts August 18
For a few years now, Apple has been producing companion podcasts to many of its hit series, such as For All Mankind, and Foundation, as well as original podcasts, like Big Time, and My Divo.
Today, the company announced Unicorn Girl, a podcast that follows influencer and businesswoman Candace Rivera, who built a multimillion-dollar business and a global nonprofit, while also hiding a secret that, well… the podcast will surely detail at length.
Here’s host Charlie Webster on what to expect from Unicorn Girl:
“Investigating Candace has not been straightforward. I’ve spent many late nights trying to understand what she did and why. This story and Rivera’s victims became personal to me, as I walked alongside them in real time. To be trusted by people who had their trust so deeply destroyed is a privilege and I am honored to tell their stories — and this story the way it deserves to be told.”
If you’re an Apple TV+ subscriber, you’ll be able to access all nine episodes of Unicorn Girl on August 18, provided you connect your subscription on Apple Podcasts. Otherwise, the first two episodes will be made available on the same date, and new episodes will be released weekly, running through October 6.
Apple TV+ is available for $9.99 per month and features hit TV shows and movies like Ted Lasso, Severance, The Studio, The Morning Show, Shrinking and Silo.
