Apple Watch getting two new Activity challenges later this month

Apple Watch has two new challenges coming this month that encourage users to hit certain Activity goals on Earth Day and International Dance Day. Here are the details.

Earth Day and International Dance Day will bring new Apple Watch Activity challenges

Later this month, Apple Watch owners will have two opportunities to earn special digital awards, including new iMessage stickers.

First up, Earth Day will offer an Activity challenge next Wednesday, April 22. Here are the details:

This Earth Day, April 22, record any 30 minute workout with the Workout app or any app that records workouts to Health to earn this award. The earth will think the world of you.

Then one week later, International Dance Day will bring its own Activity challenge on Wednesday, April 29.

Per Apple’s official messaging:

Show off your dance moves for International Dance Day. Earn this award by recording a Dance workout of 20 minutes or more on April 29. Record it with the Workout app or any app that adds workouts to Health.

Apple regularly offers Activity challenges like these tied to specific holidays and other events. Earlier this year, for example, there was a ‘Ring in the New Year’ challenge to encourage healthy habits as 2026 kicked off.
